Ruck sack defense fails
Reconnaissance drone footage released by Ukrainian sources captures the moment a Russian soldier is killed in a brutal FPV drone attack. Moments before impact the Russian must have taken his ruck sack off, because as the drone comes in for the kill he uses it as a defensive counter-measure to try and stop the device. Unfortunately for him however, that doesn't work out. The pack misses the drone and he still gets hit by the flying explosive.

Footage being shared in pro-Ukrainian spaces online today shows an FPV drone attack against what is being labeled as a Russian infantryman. As a result of that, the soldier is completely eviscerated and obliterated by the attack, and he is left thrown to the side of the road in several much smaller vaguely human shaped pieces.

446 views / TodayArizona Cops drill hostage taker at close range
This bodycam footage from Glendale, Arizona, covers an incident on 20 May 2026. Employees at a local store which sold firearms observed that a woman was acting unusually in the presence of the man she was with. The staff's concerns were compounded because the pair were there to buy a gun. Feeling that she may have been in duress, the employees called the police. Trusting your instincts tends to be the right call, and it was in this instance. When Glendale PD attempted to separate the woman from Darren Howard, 33 years of age, he tried to take her hostage and drew a knife. Both officers had their TASERs drawn, but correctly and quickly transitioned to their handguns when the weapon was visible, shooting Howard several times before he could use the knife. After separating Howard from his victim and the knife, the Glendale officers provided life-saving aid. Howard ultimately survived and faces several charges, along with a $350,000 bond. Believing they were responding to a life-threatening incident, the Deputies made entry and found Melendez' father, gun in-hand. The man was shot, but was transported to an area hospital. Viewer discretion is advised, but here's where the thickening plot twists: investigation afterward revealed no one had been shot and Axeel did not call the police. The man fell victim to a prank termed "swatting"- manipulating police into unknowingly using force under false pretenses, especially entering someone's home. It appears that he had grabbed his handgun because his home was being invaded without any ostensible reason.

This footage, provided by the NCG and MPF militias in Myanmar (Burma), shows their forces assaulting a Kanbalu police station in the Sagaing region. Cell phone video coming out of Myanmar captures the moment a pair of rebel fighters ride right up to a military checkpoint and conduct an ambush style execution on a member of the government's military. 164 views / TodayMyanmar PDF takes out Junta Troops at close range
This GoPro-style footage shows members of an anti-Junta People's Defense Force in Myanmar (Burma) attacking a military unit in Seikphyu Township, Magway. However, it may initially appear to be the other way around- the kitted up guys are actually the militia, and the guys who got caught shoeless and in shorts are part of Myanmar's official military, commonly referred to as the Tatmadaw. This video shows the PDF fighters shooting and killing at close range, which is a comparative rarity for footage from this conflict. The cameraman also comes wince-inducingly close to shooting one of his teammates in front of him. Because bodies are shown, viewer discretion is advised.

58 views / TodayAIF witches send forth doom
When Arthur Clarke wrote "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic", he probably didn't have this in mind. This collection of drone strikes and munition drops in the Chin region of Myanmar (Burma) comes from the Witches, an all-female, autonomous team of AIF members. Standing for "Antifascist International Front", the AIF is an organization of international volunteers dedicated to armed resistance against fascism across the globe. In Myanmar/Burma, they have principally done so by augmenting and improving anti-government forces' ability to use drones- a major force multiplier for militias that routinely lack artillery or air power. Viewer discretion is advised.
32 views / TodayJunta drone takes out wounded PDF
This quick clip is reminiscent of the ongoing war in Ukraine, despite taking place in Myanmar (Burma). It shows a State Administration Council (SAC, otherwise known as the Junta) drone being used to attack anti-junta militants as they withdraw from an attack, buddy-dragging a wounded comrade with them. Although the drone's dropped munition doesn't land on or right next to them, it doesn't need to. The typical payload the SAC uses is approximately 6 kilograms, or 13.2 pounds. With or without additional shrapnel, it's still enough to be lethal despite a slight miss, as shown here. Viewer discretion is advised.

111 views / TodayTaliban Fighters learn about the drone war

While in all previous conflicts the Taliban and Afghan people were able to rely on their natural mountain warfighting skills, in this new era of combat they're slowly starting to learn that they are outclassed by technology. Drones don't get tired climbing up into the mountains to blow you up. As long as that battery is still alive, the drone can kill you.
165 views / TodayDrive-By Assassins take out Iranian Police Chief
This short but brutal GoPro clip shows the assassination of Mahmoud Haqiqat in Iranshahr, Iran, necessitating viewer discretion. He was the commander of the local police station, and prior to that, Haqiqat headed up the police's intelligence division. His work enabled the targeting, arrests and interrogations of ethnic Balochs who were opposed to the ruling Iranian regime. Although it has been rumored that this strike was related to the current protests and riots, Baloch Jihadist group Jaish al-Adl has also been named as responsible. The assassins pull alongside Haqiqat and the man riding shotgun puts accurate fire through the window, appearing to strike him in the head several times before his car veers off-road, eventually hitting a tree.

After the first soldier goes down, someone fires blindly over the parapet, with obviously little effect. The second soldier shot appears to be hit in the chest, at which point another Iranian takes off running. While the footage is not explicit in terms of gore, viewer discretion remains advised.
154 views / TodayAfghan insurgents in Iran Recruited by Israel
While this title sounds like something straight out of a Tom Clancy Novel, according to Iranian intelligence assets, it happened. The video above is a five minute compilation of the Iranian intelligence agency capturing and killing Afghan insurgents that were allegedly recruited, funded, and trained by the Israeli intelligence agency. The footage shows several scenes of Iranian agents conducting raids on the Afghan positions inside of Iran during what is now being called the 12-Day War. It's unclear if the Afghans were being used to deliver intelligence to Israeli intelligence groups, or if they were being utilized as a group of Sleeper Agents to inflict damage on Iran if the war escalated.
60 views / TodayIraqi Volunteer Fighters Smoke-Check ISIS
This footage shows Iraqi snipers taking up arms and putting the hurt on ISIS. What's more, these guys are allegedly volunteers, doing it for the love of the game. More accurately, they recognize ISIS for the blight on Muslim culture and prosperity that it is, and have decided to ballistically correct the issue. Many, if not most of the volunteers taking on ISIS in Iraq are actually Iran-backed, IRGC-trained units which were stood up in contrast to the main US-trained Iraqi Army. As usual, the complex political situations in the Middle East lead to interesting bedfellows, where allies trained by our enemies kill our other enemies. Please note that viewer discretion is advised, as an ISIS militant's corpse is paraded through the streets in at the end of the video. Savage times, and as are the times, so are the people.

This video is extremely graphic and not suited for workplace viewing. Please utilize discretion. While short, this brutal 22-second clip from 04 January 2024 shows the ambush of Philippine military personnel by Abu Sayyaf militants, as well as the aftermath. Initially, two bikes are visible, but the latter appears to escape. The first bike, bearing two riders, is downed as the gunmen open fire. They appear to be using AR-platform rifles. The driver appears to be killed outright, and the passenger makes the mistake of running in a straight line down the road. He does not make it far. The gruesome realities of a bullet to the head are on full display here. Abu Sayyaf has a particular reputation for mutilating bodies, and does not attempt to sanitize the violence here at all.

203 views / TodayRebel atrocities alleged in Sudanese City
Footage shows some of the carnage allegedly committed by Rapid Support Force (RSF) rebels in the Sudanese City of El Fasher. RSF troops have been accused of killing at least 2,000 civilians, as well as acts of rape and torture, and more than 30,000 people are estimated to have left the city. The RSF was considered to be losing their conflict with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), which is internationally considered as the governing body in Sudan, by early 2024. RSF troops retreated to the deserts of southern Libya, regrouped, and received large quantities of lethal and non-lethal aid from external supporting. The funding for much of that aid is considered to be the UAE, which also paid for Columbian mercenaries to fight on RSF’s behalf. In addition to weapons, vehicles, and mercenaries, the RSF were supplied with Chinese-built anti-air defenses and drones.

In a scene which might have burst from the mind of George Miller, vehicles of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) ambush a vehicle of the rebel Rapid Support Force (SAF). The RSF vehicle is forces off the road and comes to a stop, and the SAF troops leap from their trucks, weapons at the ready, but the RSF troops appear incapacitated or deceased. Though this video is not an indicator, support from regional actors such as UAE has permitted the RSF to grow from a ragtag group of rebels into a relatively well-equipped and capable fighting force, prolonging the conflict and transforming a civil war into a proxy war.
49 views / TodayRussians ambush Militants in CAR
Body cam footage from Russian soldiers operating in the Central African Republic. Russian instructors training FACA, or the Army of the Central African Republic, are also providing assistance in hunting and eliminating militant groups. CAR, an extremely fragile state, has been plagued for decades by ethnic violence which has stymied economic growth. Russia sought to exploit the country’s problems through the Wagner Group, offering security assistance in exchange for access to resources such as gold, diamonds, and timber. Those functions are now performed by Wagner’s successor organization, now controlled by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Russian paramilitary units provide security to CAR President Faustin-Archange Touadera, supporting his regime and assisting the national army in its campaigns against ethnic factions and extremist groups. Russian soldiers have operated outside the law, committing crimes against the people of CAR and of neighboring countries with impunity.

160 views / TodaySouth African paratroopers in operation reindeer, 1978
This archival footage from 04 May 1978 shows the aftermath of "Operation Reindeer", also known colloquially as "Cassinga Raid" in Angola. As part of the South African Border War, paratroopers were dropped on Cassinga in order to both prove the existence of and destroy a joint SWAPO-Cuban presence there. SWAPO was a guerilla organization fighting for Namibian independence from South Africa. Despite the Cold War and associated Cuban Missile Crisis, Cuba's military efforts to aid the spread of Communism are often overlooked in US perspectives on history. Interestingly, the paratroopers involved (called "parabats" in SADF parlance) were told it was a training operation right up to the point of execution. This led to aircraft full of parabats having to return to base with Reservists who legally could not be used in cross-border operations.
