Chicago street Shootout leaves one dead
Footage captured by a bystander on February 4, 2026, around 1:25 p.m. in the 7900 block of South May Street in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood, just steps from St. Sabina Church.Gabryel Ayers, shows a group of gang members conducting an ambush style attack in broad daylight. Three assailants dressed in black clothing emerged from a red Alfa Romeo, rushed the victims' vehicle, and fired more than 50 rounds killing a 26-year-old mother and injuring her 27-year-old boyfriend while her baby was in the backseat of the car.
