Miami dade sergeant wins gunfight

The suspect, later identified as Jose Pineda, 44 years of age, refused several orders to show his hands before the gunfight kicked off. Despite rounds striking both vehicles, only Pineda was hit. He collapsed with his handgun in plain view beside him. Despite aid rendered on-scene before transport, Pineda was declared deceased at an area hospital.
