French Cops drop knife wielding atacker in Marseille

This quick clip comes from a bystander who witnessed an officer-involved shooting in Marseille, France. This was reported to have occurred earlier today, 03 September 2025. Viewer discretion is advised. While details are scant at present- at least until I work on my French some more- a 35-year-old Tunisian man who had been on probation went on a rampage at a hotel in the First Arrondissement in Marseille, stabbing four people. Police responded and shot the suspect outside the hotel, and the Tunisian was pronounced dead on-scene.
