Baltimore PD running and gunning

This compilation of bodycam footage shows Baltimore police officers attempting to interdict a suspect. He flees on foot before a brief exchange of gunfire and is killed. Viewer discretion is advised. Baltimore PD spotted the suspect, later identified as Jai Marc Howell, 26 years of age, on a moped. He was making conspicuous movements which suggested the the officers that he may have had a gun beneath his shirt. When they attempted to question him about it, Howell fled on foot with the pistol in his hand. It is at this point that bodycam footage begins in medias res. Howell runs down the sidewalk, gun in-hand, despite several warnings from Ofc. Foster that he will be shot. Foster keeps running, and as he passes a BPD cruiser, shots are fired. In the interest of honesty, it's hard -if not impossible- to tell from this footage, but Baltimore Police investigators believe that Howell turned and fired on the officers to his left. Howell is suspected of firing at least twice, as bullets from his weapon were found in the police cruiser, but the police fired a combined two dozen rounds back at him. Howell goes down as Foster closes in, calling "cease fire" to prevent an accidental blue-on-blue as he retrieves Howell's weapon- a handgun with an extended magazine. Although aid was provided on-scene and he was transported to an area hospital, Howell was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. No officers or bystanders were harmed.
