North Korean slaps drone
Footage out of Kursk shows a Ukrainian FPV drone pilot toying with a pro-Russian North Korean soldier. The drone pilot is likely forcing the target to deplete is ammunition so there is nothing left for his buddies to salvage. Once out of ammo, the North Korean slaps the drone with his hand, which detonates the device. The blast, recorded by a third party, appears to have been fatal.
14 views / TodayRussian Soldier propelled to New Heights
This Ukrainian drone footage shows the explosive destruction of a Russian dugout when the ammunition within detonates. The physics involved with a massive explosion having only one exit essentially turns the Earth into a howitzer, which makes an unfortunate Russian the projectile. He is cannoned up into the air- yes, those are trees below- and after he hits apogee and begins his descent, a faint, pink haze follows him. The location of this explosion was undisclosed, but it occurred in December 2024.
12 views / TodayBaba Yaga haunts North Koreans in Kursk Woods
This drone footage shows a group of what are purported to be North Korean infantry soldiers being stalked and bombed by Ukrainian drones, in Kursk. The drones are referred to as Baba Yaga, and that seems to be incredibly fitting, given the horror befalling the North Koreans below. The heavy drones are able to lift, and therefore deploy, 3D-printed munitions which are able to pack a bigger payload for their size than the usual repurposed mortar and artillery shells. This is because they need not be made of metal. The effects of this murderous strain of innovation are immediately apparent as the thermal cameras record the North Koreans being savaged and torn asunder by the explosions. I think we can all agree that there's never a good time to be a North Korean soldier, but this has got to be one of the worst.
16 views / TodayClose range ambush on sabotage unit
Drone video released by Russian forces shows a close range ambush against a pair of Ukrainians conducting sabotage operations along the northern front. As the Ukrainian approach the entrance of a tunnel system, a Russian pops out of cover and engages them from within 30 feet before they even have the chance to react. The footage concludes with the Russian tossing fragmentation grenades at the wounded and dying Ukrainian troops.
12 views / TodayMannequin challenge not effective drone defense
It appears that a false assumption is circulating through the ranks of Russian forces as we continue to see Russian troops freeze when being approached by armed drones. The unlucky and misinformed soldiers are under the impression that the drone cannot detect them if they remain motionless, when they are actually making themselves an easy target.
14 views / TodayUkraine assassinates Russian general in Moscow

According to reports, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, chief of Russia's Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops, along with his assistant, were killed when a bomb hidden inside an electric scooter was command detonated by Ukrainian Security Services (SBU) operatives. The incident happened in front of an apartment building in the Russian capital city of Moscow. Kirillov was said to be responsible for the use of chemical weapons against Ukrainian troops.
23 views / TodayDrone attack causes mass panic
Drone footage released by Russian sources shows a drone dropped munition attack against an armored personnel carrier unloading troops during an assault at an unknown location. As the troops are unloading from the vehicle, a singular munition is dropped on top of their position. As a result of the explosion, the infantrymen all start to scramble for cover as the vehicle attempts to save itself. At the :23 second mark in the video, one of the Ukrainians maneuvers to the back of the vehicle, and is knocked over and partially crushed as the APC driver attempts to safeguard his vehicle.
11 views / TodayBTR attack ends in disaster
FPV and reconnaissance drone footage released by Ukrainian sources shows an attempted BTR-82A attack against Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region. While en-route to the assault point, the BTR is struck by an FPV drone, resulting in a mobility kill on the vehicle. Following the attack, the scouts inside of the vehicle dismount and attempt to get clear, but are harassed and killed in a violent manner by secondary drones and themselves.
12 views / TodayRussian squad takes direct hit
Ukraine's 414th Separate Regiment of Strike Unmanned Aircraft Systems “Madyar's Birds” carried out an FPV drone operation against a Russian infantry squad in Kursk. The device makes a direct hit amongst the squad, and four Russian soldiers are killed on the spot.
16 views / TodayBradleys, Drones, and IDF eliminate Russian Position
A Ukrainian mechanized infantry unit pushes shoves Russian troops from their redoubt in Pokrovsk. Cannon fire and drone-dropped munitions harass Russian soldiers, and a large cluster of troops is targeted with IDF, either mortars or artillery. The effects of this combined arms assault are predictable, and the Russians pay a steep price.
12 views / TodayAssaulting armor defeated near Lyptsi
Drone footage released by Russian sources shows a piece of Ukrainian armor carrying an infantry squad during an assault being stopped exclusively by drone attacks. First, the armor is pummeled and disabled by what appears to be FPV devices. Following that, the crew and infantry bail out of the vehicle and attempt to escape to cover. The dismounted troops are then hammered by drone dropped munitions while another FPV drone attacks the armor, destroying it.
10 views / TodayGrenade explodes on top of Ukrainian Soldier
GoPro footage released by Ukrainian sources shows a pair of Ukrainian Soldiers in a close range gunfight with Russian troops. The Soldier in front of the recording Ukrainian appears to have been shot at one point, and is continuing to return fire while the recording Soldier preps and throws a frag. Moments later, either the grenade tossed by the Ukrainian, or a return grenade from the Russian side of the gunfight detonates directly underneath of the Ukrainian in the front of the camera. It's difficult to tell from the footage, because it cuts off almost immediately after detonation, but it appears as if the brunt of the explosion is absorbed by the back and side of wounded man. The full context of this video is still in question at this time, but according to Ukrainian sources, a medic was able to stabilize the seriously wounded man, and he is expected to make a recovery. This footage was allegedly recently recorded in December, but it's unclear exactly where it was filmed
16 views / TodayRussians treat drone like T-Rex doesn't work
A pair of Russian Soldiers on patrol in Ukraine find themselves spotted by an explosive-laiden FPV drone. For some reason, they attempt to pull a Dr. Alan Grant from Jurassic Park and try to freeze out in the open to avoid detection. It's unclear why they believed that doing so would prevent them from being hit by the drone, but it didn't seem to work in this instance.
8 views / TodayVDV assault in Chasiv yar
A mashup of GoPro and drone footage released by members of the 331st Regiment, 98th Airborne Division, shows a full scale assault against Ukrainian positions located in Chasiv Yar. The unit initiates their attack with a rocket after spotting a member of the Ukrainian patrol standing in the doorway of a building. Throughout the video, the group can be seen exercising violence of action, putting the Ukrainian unit on the back foot and eventually into a full retreat with a casualty.
14 views / TodayUKR SOF ambushes, calls RU reinforcements, ambushes them too
This drone footage covers an incident which was first publicly discussed on 06 December, 2024, wherein SOF elements from Ukraine's 1st Battalion, 8th Special Purpose Regiment conducted an ambush on Russian forces and took prisoners. Viewer discretion is advised as bodies are shown. Learning that the Russians were due to meet with a contingent of 20 Russian Marines the following day, the Ukrainians used the Russians' radios to call the Marines in anyway and ambushed them, too. Although the Russian reinforcements realized it was a trap, AT-4s and sniper fire prevented their escape.
10 views / TodaySoldier “Services” targets, collects trophies
A Ukrainian soldier shoots three Russian soldiers at close range. All three are on the ground and at least two are alive before he fires, for they can be seen moving. After shooting all three Russians, the Ukrainian soldiers take their weapons and departs the area. It is unclear if this is the culmination of a close-range gunfight or whether these Russian soldiers were wounded by other means and then dispatched. The term “servicing the target” has multiple uses. During the Gulf War it was used on occasion to refer to strikes against operational targets with aviation ordnance or cruise missiles. It was also used by some forces to reference the practice of placing two rounds into the head of potentially deceased enemy combatants to ensure that they were not feigning death.
16 views / TodayRussian loses fight with AP mine
Reconnaissance drone footage released by Ukrainian sources captures the moment a lone Russian Soldier steps on an anti-personnel mine in Ukraine. By design, the mine either amputates or mutilates the Russian, disabling his ability to continue walking due to the physical damage caused by the small blast. It's unclear if this is one of the anti-personnel mines that was cleared for use by lame duck American POTUS, Joe Biden. It's worth noting that Ukraine has 3D print designs for small anti-personnel mines that cost roughly .50 cents each to produce, so it's very likely that this is one of those cheap homemade systems.
9 views / TodayDrone chases Russian on motorcycle
A Ukrainian FPV drone chases a Russian soldier mounted on a motorcycle. The motorcycle is sprinting across open ground but cannot outrun the drone, which strikes the motorcyclist and explodes. The rider is wounded or possibly killed. As attrition takes its toll on Russia’s reserves of armored vehicles, they have increasingly turned to anything with wheels and an engine. Employing motorcycles in warfare is nothing new. They saw extensive use during both world wars and beyond. During World War II, American manufacturers like Indian and Harley Davidson produces thousands of bikes for the military, most of which were sold as surplus after the war, often to veterans, giving rise to American motorcycle culture in the mid-twentieth century. I am not sure if a similar phenomenon will occur in Russia when this war concludes and have a hard time imagining gangs of Russian veterans rolling down the highway on cheap Chinese dual sports.
