Drone chases Russian on motorcycle
A Ukrainian FPV drone chases a Russian soldier mounted on a motorcycle. The motorcycle is sprinting across open ground but cannot outrun the drone, which strikes the motorcyclist and explodes. The rider is wounded or possibly killed. As attrition takes its toll on Russia’s reserves of armored vehicles, they have increasingly turned to anything with wheels and an engine. Employing motorcycles in warfare is nothing new. They saw extensive use during both world wars and beyond. During World War II, American manufacturers like Indian and Harley Davidson produces thousands of bikes for the military, most of which were sold as surplus after the war, often to veterans, giving rise to American motorcycle culture in the mid-twentieth century. I am not sure if a similar phenomenon will occur in Russia when this war concludes and have a hard time imagining gangs of Russian veterans rolling down the highway on cheap Chinese dual sports.
