Infantry ambush and trench raid

Ukrainian infantry ambush Russian troops near Stepanivka, Donetsk. The enemy killed, they egress through a Russian trench and past rows of dragon’s teeth, the demarcation line between the two armies. The action is reminiscent of a World War I-style trench raid, though it is interesting that the Russian positions do not appear heavily populated.
