This footage, aside from poor production choices, shows Baluch separatists attacking an Iranian outpost near the Iran-Pakistan border. The first Iranian soldier at the top level gets dropped before the sniper starts working the bottom floor. In their fight to establish a sovereign Baluchistan, the separatists appear to have no qualms about fighting both Iranian and Pakistani troops. This causes both countries to blame the other for funding and assisting the rebels, heightening already elevated tensions in the Middle East.

This footage was taken and disseminated by an Al-Shabab media outlet, most likely in Somalia. An Ethiopian convoy consisting of trucks and APCs gets hit with IEDs and assaulted by militants. Because terror is the point of the operation, Al-Shabab doesn't refrain from showing the casualties. Therefore viewer discretion is advised. Ethiopia has deployed a large number of peacekeeping forces to Somalia to deal with Jihadist threats. Unfortunately, while the UN and post-colonial forces have had a spotty record in Africa insofar as COIN warfare, African-led efforts have not gone particularly well after the majority of UN and European efforts have ceased- even, or perhaps especially, in countries where Russia's Wagner Group has tried to fill the vacuum.

This footage, dated 30 Aug 2024, shows an incredibly, horrifically precise munition drop by a Sudanese Military quad-copter drone. Due to the casualties shown and their mechanisms of injury, viewer discretion is advised. The bomb lands right in the back of an RSF pickup full of fuel cans and the resulting Michael Bay fireball consumes the truck, a nearby tree, and the poor bastard standing next to them. One of his friends is seen ineffectually beating at the burning man with a towel or length of cloth, and the camera pans away, mercifully. At least one other RSF casualty was caused by the bombing, seen lying on the ground, but the burn victim continues to writhe.

The impact of the round is audible, suggesting either a subsonic round, or, more likely, a lucky long shot. While not terribly graphic, blood from the injury is briefly visible as the other Houthis render aid, and therefore viewer discretion is advised. Unless it was captured by whoever did the shooting, the fact that this video is circulating suggests that the cameraman survived. Can't have everything, all the time, I guess

Although it looks like it was filmed in the early 00s, this footage shows Tuareg Berber rebels ambushing a Wagner convoy in Mali. Viewer discretion is advised as the Russian casualties are shown, and the imagery is graphic. The governing body in Mali has contracted Wagner to help fight Jihadi and separatist groups, turning to Russia to fill the gaps after expelling French units with decades of operational experience in the area. Given the many civilians killed and Wagner troops lost, it's safe to say results have been mixed. It should be noted that the Tuaregs shown here are fighting for territorial independence, and have been doing so since the 1990s. While ISIS-related groups certainly benefit from their activities and vice versa, the Tuareg political stance is not one that stems from Jihadism.

CCTV footage recorded in Brazil captures the moment a pair of robbers on a motorcycle make an attempted mugging. The victim immediately feigns compliance and hands over his phone to the two attackers, and once they drop their guard he rams his full body weight into the side of the motorcycle while taking positive control of the firearm from the mugger on the back. He then engages them with his newly acquired pistol, dropping the previously armed attacker with several well placed round. The robber who was killed in the event was only 16-years-old, highlighting the need to engage the youth in a constructive manner before they can walk down this same path.

While the footage appears to have been filmed by the same crew who put together The Blair Witch project in the 90s, it shows intense scenes of chaos as the small band of guerillas manages to overwhelm and maneuver onto the logistics convoy. The bags you are seeing in the back of the vehicle are poorly packaged ammunition according to some commentors on Facebook, and not drugs as one could easily believe. Ambush attacks like this are likely critical to the under-equipped anti-junta organizations in Myanmar, as the logistics gained aid future attacks against military personnel across the country.
