Al-Shabab wipes out Ethiopian peacekeepers in Somalia

This footage was taken and disseminated by an Al-Shabab media outlet, most likely in Somalia. An Ethiopian convoy consisting of trucks and APCs gets hit with IEDs and assaulted by militants. Because terror is the point of the operation, Al-Shabab doesn't refrain from showing the casualties. Therefore viewer discretion is advised. Ethiopia has deployed a large number of peacekeeping forces to Somalia to deal with Jihadist threats. Unfortunately, while the UN and post-colonial forces have had a spotty record in Africa insofar as COIN warfare, African-led efforts have not gone particularly well after the majority of UN and European efforts have ceased- even, or perhaps especially, in countries where Russia's Wagner Group has tried to fill the vacuum.
