Reaching for gun doesn't work out for suspect

This footage, provided by the Los Angeles Police Department in California, shows two officers in pursuit of a man who had been spotted with an open container of alcohol. During the chase that ensues for this relatively minor offense, the suspect reaches for a concealed handgun which drastically escalates matters, resulting in an Officer Involved Shooting (OIS).
