Kachin Independence Army fires captured howitzer
This quick clip shows the Kachin Independence Army (with the unfortunate acronym of KIA) firing a captured howitzer which formerly belonged to the Myanmar military junta. It is unclear whether this is a test or if they have a distant target. Despite jokes about the abbreviated form of their name, the KIA is one of the most historically effective anti-junta factions in the war, and in addition to combat efficacy, they now manage production of in-house versions of many of the small arms used in the conflict.
