Junta troops assault insurgent trenches, Burma

This overhead drone footage shows troops from the State Administration Council (SAC), the military junta currently ruling Myanmar (Burma) bombing and assaulting positions held by the Arakan Army, one of the many ethnocentric militias fighting for sovereign determination of their people- in this case, the Arakanese in Rakhine State. In and of itself the footage is reminiscent of similar trench raids in Ukraine, as is the use of drone-dropped mortar rounds as preparation. As the troops move into the still-occupied trenchworks, fighting happens at relatively close ranges and bodies of Arakan Army fighters are shown; therefore, viewer discretion is advised.
