Iraqi EOD technician killed by IED

Footage recorded by an Iraqi soldier at the city gate of Talafar shows an Iraqi EOD technician facing a catastrophic failure during a bomb disposal operation. The device was emplaced by a member of the Islamic State during combat operations in 2017, and the technician can be seen brutally being sent airborne when the bomb detonates. It's unclear if any of the other troops were wounded, but this is generally why American EOD technicians use robots or enforce standoff for nearby friendly forces while they're working on explosive devices.
