Hamas ambushes IDF engineers

Body-worn camera footage shows the July 9, 2025 Hamas ambush against a team of Israeli Defense Force engineers running excavators in the Khan Younis area of Gaza. During the attack, Israeli reservist Master Sgt. Abraham Azulay was shot dead by Hamas operatives. In the footage we can see the Islamists sneaking into close proximity of multiple Israeli heavy machines. They imitate the attack with an RPG and follow up with small arms. Reportedly, the insurgents tried capturing Azulay, but he resisted and was shot dead on the spot before being looted of his weapons and personal items.
