Faked surrender leads to death

Reconnaissance drone footage released by Russian sources captures the tail end of an assault against a Russian fighting position that was recorded back in September of 2024. After a series of grenade attacks against the Russian position, the occupying Russian can be seen exiting his position with what appears to be the intent to surrender. As the Ukrainians approach, the drone operator lets them know that they suspect the Russian soldier has a hand grenade, so they back off and command the Russian to sit up on his knees. At this stage, the Russians attempting to conduct a suicide attack as they surrender is old hat, and as the Russian sits up the grenade is spotted and the Ukrainians open fire, killing him.
