Avoz takes casulaties in Serebryansky Forest
Helmet cam footage recorded by a Ukrainian Azov unit in the Serebryansky Forest in 2024, shows the evacuation and treatment of multiple casualties with serious injuries, all while Russian artillery impacts nearby. The first wounded soldier approached by the cameraman has a seriously disfiguring injury to his hand and arm. He reportedly lived, but lost the hand and part of the arm. The second soldier appears to have injuries to both of his legs. Significant blood loss is apparent, and it also appears his legs are broken as they do not move with the rest of his body when loaded on the Skedco-type stretcher. He also reportedly survived but had at least one of his legs amputated. The third casualty has multiple penetrating wounds to his torso. The responding medic can be seen applying an occlusive dressing, also known as a chest seal in hopes of preventing tension pneumothorax or sucking chest wound. That soldier survived as well, as no vital organs were effected by his injury. The original uploader, "mister.frostovik," goes on to claim that two of the soldiers seen helping the wounded men in the video died a few months later when their APC was struck by Russian fire.
