Russian company flayed by combined arms defense
Footage of a Russian attack on Synkivka, near Kharkiv, in December 2023. A Russian mechanized company launches an attack and is absolutely flayed by a smorgasbord of combined arms, courtesy of the 30th Mechanized Brigade. A BMP platoon advances passed previously destroyed vehicles, with a tank running point and a mine rolling tank far in the lead. The modified tank explodes, likely from a mine, and then takes direct fire from the flank. The second tank and two BMPs arrive at the scene and attempt to back away, but the rear BMP is hit, sending the crew scampering for a scraggly cluster of trees. An FPV drone smacks into the side of the second BMP, causing that crew to flee as tracers nip at their heels from yet another direction. The second tank is undone by a mine, followed by the last BMP, and the Ukrainians throw in a 155mm DPICM round for good measure. This was an effective combined arms defense by the Ukrainians. Obstacles fixed the enemy in place so that they could be neutralized or destroyed by direct and indirect fire systems. Even FPV drones were factored into the scheme which makes this video all the more relevant for those who interested in fire support planning and the future of combined arms. Drones have not supplanted indirect fire and aviation assets in combined arms doctrine, nor have they rendered armor obsolete. Drones have added another layer of complexity to combined arms tactics, providing another tool for fire support plans as well as a threat to be neutralized. In future warfare, effective fire support will integrate drones with IDF and aviation and will employ EW and counter drone systems assets to provide maximum protection to maneuver elements.
11 views / TodayUkrainian immolated during drone attack
Reconnaissance and FPV drone footage released by Russian sources captures an attack on a Ukrainian defensive position in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine. From the FPV drone’s initial perspective, the attack doesn’t appear particularly successful. It looks like the drone simply strikes a trench wall covered with camouflage netting. However, when the reconnaissance drone perspective is shown, we see a Ukrainian soldier running through the trench, completely engulfed in flames. While it's impossible to tell from the initial perspective of the attacking drone, this tells us that the explosion likely hit some sort of fuel inside of the trench. This likely caused a secondary flash explosion, which fully immolated the Ukrainian soldier, and the defensive position where he was located.
8 views / TodayRussians clear Ukrainian positions and capture POW
GoPro footage released by members of the Russian 60th Brigade shows a squad-sized element of Russian soldiers attacking a Ukrainian defensive position at an unknown location. Towards the end of the recording, the Russians enter the Ukrainian trench line, clear the dead Ukrainian soldiers, and appear to capture a single POW who was hiding under some blankets or equipment.
11 views / TodaySnow camo fails Russian Troops
Footage from the Ukrainian SIGNUM unit shows kamikaze drone strikes against Russian troops in a snowy, forested area. In some of the clips, the Russians can be seen wearing snow camouflage "over-whites" to match their surroundings. The garments actually do make the Russians harder to see, but it doesn't help enough to keep them in one piece.
8 views / TodayGround op brutalized by strikes
Footage from the “Khartia” Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard shows a multi-day Russian ground offensive being repeatedly brutalized by kamikaze FPVs and drone-dropped munitions. The Russian infantry assaults begin as platoon-sized clusterfucks, but are rapidly downsized by the continuous bombardment. Aftermath footage shows dead troops scattered across the battlefield with little to no ground effectively taken.
10 views / TodayDrone dropped grenades stop patrol
Drone footage recorded and released by Ukrainian troops shows a series of brutal drone dropped grenade attacks against a fire-team sized element of Russian forces patrolling through the snow. It's unclear exactly where this footage was captured, but the source claims that it occurred somewhere in the greater Pokrovsk region near one of the smaller villages.
8 views / TodayFail disarming enemy drone
A Ukrainian soldier attempts to disarm an enemy FPV drone and is unsuccessful. The methods for countering drones have evolved, including using electronic jamming, interceptor drones, and even shotguns. Once disabled, the drones devolve into temperamental pieces of unexploded ordnance requiring disposal.
9 views / TodayUkrainian artillery and drones ruin Russian Assault
This footage, provided by Ukraine's 24th Motor Rifle Brigade, shows their soldiers, along with drone and artillery support, putting the brakes on a Russian assault in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk. Infantry, ATVs and an APC all fall victim to the pummeling. Because burning and deceased bodies are shown, viewer discretion is advised.
5 views / TodayRussian cut in half by drone
Brutal drone footage released by Ukrainian sources captures multiple attacks against exposed Russian troops laying in a field. It's unclear what's going on in the first two attacks, however it looks like the pilot scores a direct hit on something based on the color palette in the second explosion. The third attack is the one that's really noteworthy here. The lone infantryman appears to be fully exposed, laying on his stomach, attempting to avoid detection. That doesn't work for him though. Instead, he ends up catching a drone dropped munition to his mid-section, which effectively tears him in half. The soldier then moves to lift his legs to inspect the damage, only to realize that everything from his tailbone down is no longer connected to his body.
24 views / TodayRussian oblivious to incoming bomb drone
Footage shows a Ukrainian explosive-laden FPV kamikaze drone approaching a Russian soldier. Although the drone arrives from the rear, one would think the Russian would be able to hear the powerful buzzing from the four rotors. He acts as if he doesn't, and the drone delivers a powerful blast, killing the soldier and sending his helmet flying.
8 views / TodayNever be the slowest guy in a drone attack
When patrolling through IED infested fields, the worst position to be is the guy at the front of the ranger file with a combat mine detector searching for explosives. When running through a drone denied area, the worst position to be in is the slowest guy at the back of the patrol carrying jugs of heavy flammable liquid. The footage above was recorded by drone operators from Russia's 123rd Motor Rifle Brigade in January of 2026. It's unclear exactly where it was captured, but it appears that the rearmost soldier carrying a jug of fuel was killed in the attack.
9 views / TodayRussian plays worst version of hide the queen
Reconnaissance drone video released by Ukrainian sources captures a grisly and comical scene where a Russian is blown out of one culvert by an explosion, and then immediately re-blown up when he enters into a different one. This is the world's worst version of hide the queen, or that game where you try to find the hidden ball underneath of the red solo cup. I don't think it's possible to have a worse day than this guy.
10 views / TodayRussian butt strokes bomb drone
The Ukrainian 414th Birds Of Magyar drone unit released a video showing the engagement of a Russian infantryman with deadly results. The Russian is caught off-guard by the flying bomb and, out of impulse, bashes the point-detonating device with his rifle's butt stock, causing the drone to immediately explode. Aftermath footage confirms the strikes was lethal.
9 views / TodaySignum's latest drone domination mixtape
Members of the Signum drone unit have released their latest compilation of FPV drone strikes from the Lyman region. Targets are dominantly comprised of exposed infantrymen, but several attacks target Russian equipment and defensive positions in the area as well.
6 views / TodayWounded Ukrainian volunteer hits mine during CASEVAC
This quick but brutal clip shows a wounded international volunteer in the Ukrainian Army- most likely Colombian- being evacuated on a sled. While the date of the incident is unknown, it was first posted in January 2026. The sled is being pulled at speed by an ATV, and while this system seems simple, a glaring flaw is about to be made apparent. The ATV turns slightly, and this is just enough to swing the sled off the edge of the path. That's all it takes. Because of the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or because of Crom's indifference, this slight deviation allows the already-wounded volunteer to be dragged over a buried anti-personnel mine. There is an explosion, a few beats of shocked silence, and then the reality that his right foot is gone sets in. He then shoots in the direction of the mine, whether out of shock or consternation. Viewer discretion is advised.
11 views / TodayAzov sniper montage
Ukraine's Azov Regiment released a short montage showing sniper team engagements against at least seven Russian troops resulting in casualties inflicted. It's not clear exactly when or where the clips were recorded, but what is clear is that thermal optics give Ukrainian troops the advantage at night over their Russian foe who are not even issues individual night vision devices.
12 views / TodayRussian infantry losses to drone strikes
FPV drone footage released by the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of Ukraine, better known as the Sons of Khors, shows a series of strikes against exposed Russia infantry. It's unclear exactly where this footage was filmed, but the unit has mostly been operating out of the Zaporizhzhia. Piatykhatky, Pavlivka, and Novoyakovlevka in western Zaporizhzhia are the regions they have most commonly been releasing footage from, but in January there were some reports of them conducting operations near Orikhiv.
7 views / TodayAftermath of landmine strike on Russian transport
GoPro footage released by Russian sources captures the immediate aftermath of a landmine strike that wounded the driver of a Russian transport vehicle. According to the source of the footage, the group was riding in a Ulan-2 when they struck an anti-tank mine, severely injuring the driver. It's unclear if there were any other casualties during the landmine attack, and only the wounded driver is shown on camera.
