Viewer's discretion is advised as he is shown on the road in the aftermath, more than likely dead. This incident illustrates just how fast these small, cheap FPVs come in- the Russian soldier has barely any time to react at all, let alone flee or shoot it. His reaction time and senses are probably dulled by exhaustion, and by the time he hears that high-pitched whine of the rotors, it's basically already over.

While we've covered similar attacks before, what makes this video more interesting is that both the Ukrainian drones and Russian soldiers on the ground were recording the incident, and the video shows both perspectives. The urgency on the ground is a reminder that while distance and altitude may seem to sterilize such attacks, the reality is anything but. Although the casualties are censored, blood is still visible and the situation itself may require viewer discretion.

The Russians, who are moving through the open with what appears to be zero fire support, are stopped dead in their tracks by a modern combined arms conundrum comprised of accurate artillery fire and drone dropped munitions. Remember, movement without fire is suicide, and fire without movement is a waste of ammunition.

Reconnaissance drone footage released by Russian sources captures a brutal ambush conducted by Russian military forces in the Kursk region of Russia. The footage was captured near the Olgovka Forest, and no further context was released with the footage. It's unclear what caused the initial damage to disable the vehicle, however the follow on footage paints a grim picture for the Ukrainian fighters. Throughout the later stages of the video, it's clear that the Ukrainian troops are in direct contact with Russian ground forces while additional FPV drones are capitalizing on their inability to maneuver out of contact. At several stages, direct small arms fire can be seen impacting with the vehicle, and the Earth around the Ukrainian troops who are trying to get cover.

I am not certain that the expenditure of munitions of this type on individual soldiers is an efficient use of resources. Perhaps it is a terror tactic, or perhaps killing all of the participants in an attack deprives the Russian Army of survivors with combat experience who could rise to leadership roles.

Footage shows a disastrous and deadly Russian armored assault attempt along the Siversk front in the northern tip of Donetsk. First, the Russian vehicles are knocked out, likely by mines or drones. Then, the survivors are forced to dismount from their burning vehicles. They scramble for cover, but are picked off by kamikaze drones and drone-dropped munitions. The defensive operation was carried out by the Ukrainian Border Guards of the Revenge Brigade in cooperation with the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss." They report that 13 Russian troops perished and there were no survivors.
