Dated 01 February 2026, this appears to be a targeted assassination of some kind, rather than terror tactics, given that the drone passes over the observer's car to hit the one in front. That said, no data or information has yet been provided about the target. While Ukraine has mostly avoided deliberate attacks on civilians, targeted killings are very much in their wheelhouse and both local partisans and inserted Intelligence Directorate teams have been in play in Belgorod.
