Militia group ambushes RSF fighter
Cell phone footage published by a civilian militia group in the Gezira of Sudan shows a small unit ambush against a lone RSF fighter attempting to maneuver to a bridge. According to reports coming out of the region, the militia resistance in Gezira is one of the primary reasons the RSF troops were unable to take full control of Gezira during the opening weeks of fighting in Sudan, and that resistance is still holding strong today.
5 views / TodayIraqi loses fingers after destroys SVBIED
GoPro footage recorded by a volunteer fighter in Iraq shows the destruction of a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device. Immediately following the explosion, screaming shrapnel rips the Iraqi's fingers off of his hand, but the man manages to survive mostly unharmed outside of that wound
17 views / TodayKurdish sniper lands headshot on ISIS Fighter
Video recorded by Kurdish troops with the Syrian Defense Force captures an engagement between a sniper and a position occupied by the Islamic State. For about two minutes, the sniper engages the Islamic State fighters at their position, wounding one, and scoring a direct headshot on a second that jumped out of cover to try and spot where the fire was coming from. Pro-Tip: If a sniper is directly engaging your position, has already landed a shot on someone near you, and is obviously still there shooting at you, do not poke your entire body out of cover in an attempt to goad the sniper into revealing his position.
58 views / TodayKurds pull off Close-Range ambush
This quick clip shows Kurdish fighters launching a successful ambush on Turkish soldiers in Iraq. While an official date was not provided, it's been suggested that it took place sometime in 2023. Whenever or where-ever it went down, the action showcases excellent usage of speed, surprise and violence of action. Meanwhile, the Turkish force makes the worst choice possible: giving your back to the enemy and running back the way you came. It turns into a turkey shoot as the cameraman charges and finishes off one of his enemies at close range.
34 views / TodayBackblast area not clear
Footage recorded back in 2011 captures the moment a rebel fighter engages military positions with a rocket propelled grenade. Unfortunately, the fighter forgot to complete one of the most important parts of prepping a rocket shot, and that's clearing the backblast area. For the fighter immediately behind him that was hit by the backblast, it likely meant death. Remember kids, kinetic energy always has to go somewhere. If you're shooting a rocket, that energy is being expelled behind you in the form of piping hot gas and rocket discharge.
16 views / TodayIntense clashes in Myanmar leave 40 dead
A compilation of combat footage recorded between December 30, 2024 and January 3, 2025 shows a series of clashes between the Karen National Liberation Army and the Myanmar Military. According to the KNLA, at least 40 enemy combatants were killed during the intense days-long engagement between the two sides.
26 views / TodaySaudi strikes overwhelm Houthi rebels
A series of airstrikes released by Saudi Arabia shows attacks against Houthi ground forces in Yemen. The footage appears to be quite dated, so I don't think this has anything to do with current events, however it is circulating and is worth publishing for archival purposes.
9 views / TodayPDF fighters ambush and loot Junta Soldiers, Myanmar
This GoPro-style footage shows a combined operation featuring members of several People's Defense Force units in Tanintharyi, Myanmar. They effectively ambush and neutralize members of the Junta-controlled Myanmar military, then loot the bodies for arms and equipment. Although it is censored (as are the faces of the PDF militiamen, to protect their identities), footage from Myanmar which shows who the PDF were shooting at, rather than simply who's doing the shooting, is fairly uncommon. Having been the subject of poem and prose since Kipling's day, it's hard to escape how beautiful Myanmar is, even amid the trauma of armed conflict. "An' the dawn comes up like thunder outer China 'crost the Bay!"
11 views / TodayKurdish SDF fighters ambush unlucky SNA Militia
This thermal footage, captured by an overhead drone, observes two Kurdish Self Defense Forces (SDF) militia members getting the drop on two fighters from their opposite number, the Syrian National Army. Viewer discretion is advised as the SNA troops are shot at close range. The SNA is not to be confused with the actual military of Syria, and is instead a coalition of militias backed by Turkiye. Turkiye funds and assists the SNA in their fight against the Kurdish forces, because Turkiye has been in armed conflict with Kurdish insurgents for the last 40 years- namely, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). Despite this affiliation, the United States backs the Kurds as valuable allies in the ongoing fight against Jihadist factions in the area, and Kurdish forces have demonstrated considerable efficacy with American tactics and equipment. The result is an incredibly convoluted proxy conflict which includes American, Turkish, and Russian supported players, and guest stars the Israeli Air Force.
15 views / TodayHTS rebels drive into deadly ambush
Brutal footage shows a light armored pickup truck loaded with Sunni HTS fighters driving into the kill zone of an Assad regime ambush. The bed of the truck appears to be covered in 1/4" steel sheeting for ballistic protection, but it doesn't work as rifle rounds effortlessly find their way into the troop compartment. One of the militants is hit as soon as the clip begins and he succumbs to his wounds on camera. The vehicle is immobilized and eventually a blast, possibly an RPG, rocks the vehicle, likely inflicting significant casualties throughout the crew.
29 views / TodayEgyptian Military smokes ISIS in the Sinai
This graphic footage records Egyptian military elements eliminating ISIS-affiliated insurgents who were using the barren expanse of the Sinai desert to hide their camp. While this may have been a valid strategy once upon a time, the prevalence of satellite and drone overflights appears to have rendered it moot. The Egyptian army reported the presence of ISIS to Israel, which then agreed to the Egyptian incursion into the Sinai. Viewer discretion is advised as the ISIS fighters are shown being killed on the run or in their beds. This suggests that they were caught unawares and taking prisoners was not in the mission plan.
15 views / TodayKurdish sniper eliminates entire company Of HTS
Viewer Discretion Advised: Absolutely brutal footage from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) shows the engagement and elimination of 17 Turkish-backed militants, and the wounding of an additional six with the use of a thermal rifle scope. The SDF described their targets as the "remnants of ISIS," which is possible, however, they likely currently fall under the Hyat Tahrir ash Sham banner. In addition to the inflicted casualties, the Kurdish militants also destroyed multiple vehicles and fortifications, and seized weapons, equipment, and intelligence.
36 views / TodayHTS assaults Al-Raqim hill, North Of Aleppo
This GoPro-style footage shows the perspective of HTS militants as they assault Syrian Army positions on Al-Raqim Hill, to the North of Aleppo in Syria. Viewer discretion is advised as KIAs are shown. Bodies are visible in a trench/dug position at approximately 01:30 as the cameraman confirms their deaths. Thereafter several kills are shown as the HTS militants engage Syrian troops in the open.
9 views / TodayRebel tank crew shredding through Aleppo
GoPro footage recorded by opposition forces in Syria shows a tank rolling through regime forces in Western Aleppo. At one point, around 50 seconds into the video, the dead body of a Syrian Soldier can be seen off to the side of the road as the tank rolls past a destroyed vehicle. At around :18 seconds into the video, someone's water bottle can be seen sitting on top of the tank. According to Will Killmore, it's almost like that tanker doesn't care that UV radiation from sunlight has the ability to break chemical bonds in plastic water bottles, which may cause health issues down the road. People in California definitely don't like that, and it's probably somehow related to Genocide in Gaza.
10 views / TodayBalochi separatists bomb train in Pakistan
Video released by Balochi Separatists captures the bombing of a train near the Paneer Station in Mashkaf. According to the Separatists, 10 Pakistani troops were killed and another 25 were injured. If you're unfamiliar with the term Balochistan or the Balochi Separatsists in Pakistan, I highly recommend heading up to that search bar and educating yourself. While their conflict has taken a backseat over the past year due to the situation in Ukraine it's been an on-going conflict for quite some time that has only intensified with Taliban control of Afghanistan.
9 views / TodayAnti-Junta Forces spring an ambush in Myanmar
This GoPro-style footage shows a combined force of the Yephyu PDF (People's Defense Force) and the Dawei National Liberation Army as they ambush a vehicle being used by the Myanmar Government's troops. Viewer discretion is advised, although close-ups of the KIAs have been obfuscated. The government soldiers attempt to use the drainage ditches on the side of the road as cover, but to no avail as the anti-junta fighters jump in and deliver the coups des graces before looting the bodies. This kind of footage, showing the opposing forces and direct violence being done to them, is exceedingly rare coming out of Myanmar. The vast majority of videos simply show militants shooting, but not at whom/what.
17 views / Today26 Killed, 62 Innjured in Pakistan blast
At least 26 people were killed and 62 more injured in a suicide blast that erupted at a busy railway station in Quetta, Pakistan on Nov 9, 2024. The bomber was reportedly disguised as a passenger and self detonated inside a crowd of people. It's not clear what entity was responsible for the blast. Local reports that it may be one of the Baluchistan separatist groups, such as the BLA. However, the region Islamic State affiliate, ISKP also uses Baluchistan as a safe haven.

Triggercam footage released by an anti-junta fighter conducting sniper and reconnaissance operations near Dawei Township in Myanmar shows an attack against a military position. According to the source of the footage, at least one Junta Soldier was killed in the attack, and a second was wounded.
